Accents 2 - Frequently Asked Questions
How do I type type an accented character with Mophy Accents?
You type a normal capital letter by pressing the Shift key and the letter key at the same time. Accents is very similar, just imagine the Alt Gr (or right hand Alt) key is the Shift key. So to type an accent, press and hold Alt Gr (right Alt) and then press the letter key.
What languages can I type in with Mophy Accents?
Mophy Accents supports over 35 languages. 35 languages come predefined in Accents, but you can also set up your own languages with as many characters as you need.
The 35 standard languages are Albanian, Catalán, Croation, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Esperanto, Estonian, Faroese, Finnish, French, Gaelic, German, Greek, Hawaiian, Hungarian, Icelandic, Irish, Italian, Latin, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Sorbian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Welsh.
Do I have to choose just 1 language to type in?
Not at all, choose as many as you need.
How do I know which letter to press with Alt Gr?
You should use the letter key that looks most like the character you want. e.g. if you want é, use e or for ä use a. Some characters are less obvious but we try and make it simple, for example to type æ you can use either a or e (it makes no difference).
Will Mophy Accents work with my keyboard?
Probably. Mophy Accents works with most keyboards (including French, German, Spanish, etc). In order to get the most out of Mophy Accents an English keyboard is recommended. If in doubt, we recommend you download the trial version of Accents and see for yourself.
What is the difference between the trial version and the full version?
The trial version only works for 30 days and displays a message warning you when the trial will expire. There is no functional difference between the two versions.
Is is safe to install the trial?
Yes, Mophy Accents will not harm your computer in any way. You can download in confidence.
